This 17 Jewel Vanguard hunter is from the first run of Vanguard grade 1892 model. The first recorded run is quite large and includes watches with several different jewel counts.

I think the dial is particularly interesting on this watch also. The flourishes are reminiscent of Morehouse style dials and were presumably influenced by Morehouse.
