Waltham 18 size 1892 Vanguard, 21 jewel, lever set, winding indicator, recased. This watch was made around 1912 and has many of the improvements that first appear on the later 1899 and 1908 16 size watches. The Olof Ohlson regulator and Ohlson's patent click are most noticeable.

An interesting decorative feature of this watch that is not normally seen on Waltham watches is the brown color of the winding wheels and screws. This decoration is sometimes seen on European watches, but is rarely seen on American production. It was possibly added by a watchmaker sometime after the watch was made.
