Movement Closeup Click Closeup Under Dial Under Dial Closeup This is an uncased movement that requires a button setting case. I have not actually examined a button set case and am unclear on how the button interacts with the setting lever. The lever appears to be too close to the dial to be reached by a button set in the side of the case. In the nail setting variation, the mechanism is essentially identical to this except the lever is longer and has a raised portion on the end for the fingernail to engage. Note the interesting click in addition to the button setting mechanism. This click is also found on early 1872 Models in the Park Road Grade, but the location is opposite the location in the 1873 model. Notice also that the first run does not have the Woerd's Patents inscription under the balance wheel.
