Waltham made a number of interesting watches that are not strictly speaking high grade. In particular, I find the various special patents by Ezra Fitch on case designs interesting and the model 1870 produced by the Nashua Department and model 1892 that were closely related to the Nashua production.

I have included the 1899 Riverside Maximus watches here because they  were produced as second line watches behind the American Watch Co. grade.
