Arnold/Dent Prest Patent. This watch is signed Arnold & Dent, but it is in a "shop case" and was likely never sold commercially. I suspect it was in the shop when Dent entered into partnership with Arnold and was finished for a customer who never materialized. In any case it is a nice large example of the Arnold detent and likely the last one produced with Arnold's name on it. The serial number 107 is appropriate for a watch in the Prest Series that J. R. produced starting in 1823.
