Box, Dial, Dial closeup, Deck watch in box, Movement, 2nd view of movement This boxed Longines deck watch shows quite a bit of use. The box seems to be original, but may have had a bad replacement for the hinge. When I purchased it, the box had come completely unglued and Foster Campos was kind enough to re-glue and refinish the box for me. The movement hinges up out of the box with a latch button to release the latch. When it is hinged up, the outer ring on the back of the watch can be turned to hack it. I believe this piece dates from the WWI period, but I have no documentation to support this conjecture. The serial number is 4689471 and it is marked 24,99 under the balance. There is no visible ebauche mark. The movement is marked 15J and 3 adjustments. |
