Omega wristwatches are very interesting and I wear them and have a small collection of Constellations. The pocket watches are generally less interesting with the exception of the grades used in Canadian railway service.

The interest in this split second time relates to the fact that similar watches were the official timers for the Olympic Games during most of my youth. I believe this watch was intended to be used for industrial timing in time and motion labor efficiency studies. My mother was a factory worker most of her life, and my friend Pat Caruso participated in time and motion studies at Waltham when they were trying to determine the labor cost of new designs. Both shared interesting anecdotes of these experiences that have inspired my interest in pieces like this one.
