Waltham counter displays often have a plaque that reads "Chronometer" and sometimes another with the jeweler's name on it. This example is plain. There is some epoxy around the back of the mounting bolts and it may have had some inappropriate restoration.

The movement is similar to that in the Waltham flat deck watch that is also in this collection. It too has 15 jewels and a nice regulator even though it is not marked adjusted.
