This little clock was used on a desk where people would be seated on both sides so that both could see the clock. It would be considered rude to have a clock on your desk that your guest could not also see.

The clock is a modified version of Waltham's standard 35 size 8 day clock that extends the center arbor in the back to have the additional motion works for the second dial.
