Waltham Howard Split Private Label for Bailey Banks & Biddle

There are many strangely marked examples of the Waltham Howard production. It seems reasonable that there was some problem in the contract and that many of the movements were disposed of through alternate channels. It is also possible that dials from various Walthams were put on these movements to complete them from otherwise scrap material. At the present time no one really knows the full story.
