| This brochure was produced by the E. Howard Watch Co. as a presentation of their new range of watches. As with most of this type of literature there is a retailer's name imprinted on the booklet as well as the E. Howard signature. The retailer that distributed this particular example was Hayden W. Wheeler (also known for their association with the Hamilton Watch Co.) The language in the brochure is interesting as are the pictures. The illustrations show the watches that appear with standard E. Howard and Co. markings as distinct from the later E. Howard Watch Co. markings. The description on the front of the 12 page brochure refers to the "merger" of the two companies rather than the purchase of the rights to the name "Howard" by the Keystone Watch Case Co. |
