The Series 11 Railroad Chronometer is the last 16 size watch developed by Freund at the E. Howard Watch Co. This layout is also used on the 10 size watches for the E. Howard Watch Co. group and very inexpensive watches for the Keystone Standard group.

The Series 11 has a very stark industrial finish similar to that found on very late Waltham and some Elgin watches also from the 1940's. Despite its lack of decoration, the watch was adjusted to 5 positions and temperature and was qualified on all American Railroad lines.
