| This Howard 12 size 17 jewel movement is included because of the unusual markings on the movement. The movement is marked adjusted and patented with no further information on what adjustments or the patent date. Otherwise it is an ordinary model 1918 movement often referred to as the Series 6. For reasons I cannot recall, I originally listed this watch as 10 size. I think the casing and sizing of all these watches needs more attention. Many of them are cases in swing ring cases and the top plates appear to be much smaller than the bottom plates.
