Front, Back, Dial, Movement, 2nd view of movement, Angle view of movement

This example is one of the mystery watches that are presumably from the transition of the Waltham E. Howard & Co. contract during the sale of the Howard name to the Keystone Watch Case Co. An alternative explanation is that the E. Howard Watch Co. erased the Howard markings on these watches when they began to produce their own design of Bridge Model.

It has a partially erased dial that is similar to the later dials that appear with the Keystone Howards produced by Waltham. The movement has cleanly stamped serial number and adjusted markings, but the name seems to be engraved rather than stamped..

The serial number is H829624. The corresponding Waltham serial number is 11,029,624 from the same run as the originally dialed and cased example H829569. However, this watch is marked 23 jewels and has no diamond end stones vs. the 6 diamond end stones of its litter mate.
