Front, Back, Dial, Cuvette, Case mark, Cuvette mark, Movement, 2nd view of movement, Angle view of movement

This watch is an example of the Waltham 19 jewel split plate movement produced by Waltham for E. Howard & Co. This ebauche was not used for higher grade watches at Waltham, but it was used for the 1903 E. Howard contract and probably for the later Keystone Howard continuation.

This example has a particularly beautiful double sunk Howard dial (not E. Howard & Co.) and is marked E. Howard and Co. 19 Jewels Adjusted on the movement.

The gold filled case is made by the Crescent Watch Case Company and seems to be the case most commonly found on these movements.

The serial number is 1015160. The corresponding Waltham serial number is 12,615,160 which is in the run 12,615,001 to 12,615,400 recorded as 16 size "Special" 19 jewel OF.
