This is the "standard" 19 jewel split plate Waltham Howard in the hunting case variety. I don't know of any production numbers for these watches, but the examples in hunting case seem to be more scarce than the open face examples.

The serial number is 1,010,504. The corresponding Waltham serial number is 12,610,504 from the run 12,610,001 to 12,610,600 recorded as 16 size "Special" 19 jewel HC.
