Once the Howard name had been sold to the Keystone Watch Case Company, Waltham continued to supply watches under the 1903 contract. However, the new watches were marked E. Howard Watch Co. and started to appear in the distinctive Keystone Howard case with the Howard Logo ring on the cuvette.

These movements also show subtle differences from the earlier bridge models. The supplemental bridges are straight rather than curved as they are in Waltham Bridge models and the earlier E. Howard & Co. Bridge models.

The straight bridge design on the supplemental bridges carried over into the earliest production of the new Howard factory in Waltham in the former U. S. Watch Company premises.

The serial number on this example is 1005241. The engraving appears to be hand engraved rather than stamped. The corresponding Waltham serial number is 12,605,241 from the run 12,605,001 to 12,605,500 recorded as "Bdg Special" 23 jewel OF.
