Front, Movement, Cap, Inner hallmark, Outer hallmark, Paper 1, Paper 2, Name

This appears to be an unfinished ebauche that was sold to Francis Grant sometime close to 1800. It may be that many movements came to America in this form to have the final engraving and possibly a diamond end stone added by the local watch maker.

The case has a nice set of pseudo hallmarks that were most likely supplied by an American case maker. There is no means available to determine who the maker might have been.
