Frances Rubie is the only high grade small keywind marked National Watch Co. This watch was produced during the first year of production in 1868.  There is only one run of this model recorded. There is another run listed at 375,001 but all the watches seen from that run are 18 size.

This example is in what appears to be an original case with a fake winding knob in the pendant. The double sunk dial is marked with the National Watch Co. NWC logo found only on the earliest National Watch Co. watches. Of the 10 size watches, only the Frances Rubie appears to have been sold with a double sunk dial.
