This interesting remnant carries serial number 3525. From the style it would date to around the turn of the 19th century. It currently is fitted with a lever escapement, but was certainly either a cylinder or a duplex when made. Although the dial has a big chunk out of the edge between I and II, it appears to be original to the watch.
