This loose movement is interesting because of the style and the date that would be associated with the serial number. It was likely finished by Frodsham after John Roger's death and Charles Frodsham's purchase of the business from the estate. However, it is possible that it was something that J. R. played with as he was winding down his affairs. It does not have a lot to recommend it. 

It features Prest's keyless work with a late pattern dial that used a key for setting the hands. (Earlier examples often set with the fingers directly on the hands.) The number 6594 is the second highest number known for watches signed by Arnold.
