There is nothing much remarkable about this rough movement except the marking "Imp'd" on the movement that presumably claims the watch is an improved example over the normal fare produced by Barraud's.

I will need to disassemble the watch in conjunction with the other similarly sized example of the 3rd series to get some idea of what the improvement may have been. It is possible that it is only a marketing improvement with no corresponding technical content.
