This roughly 6 size ladies watch is made with most of the obvious quality of the larger watches, but there are numerous cost reductions to bring the price down to a competitive level.

The watch has a hunting style movement, but the seconds bit is omitted from the dial so it can be cased in an open face case. The movement sports 9 jewels with the basic 7 jewel escapement supplemented by jewelling on the escape wheel. The balance is a plain uncompensated gold balance and, of course, the watch has a going barrel.

The serial number 3/2275 places the watch early in the 3rd series production. The hallmark is for 1876.
