This watch appears at first glance to be a standard Swiss knock off of an English make, however, I believe it was actually ordered by Barrauds from their Swiss associates and fits into the Barraud numbering scheme. The number 26754 appears on all the case surfaces and I interpret this to be the same as the Barraud's number 2/6754.

The movement has 13 jewels according to the cuvette, but all the pivots are jeweled through the 3rd wheel, which should make 15 jewels. Presumably two of the pivots are not jeweled in the pillar plate.

The watch is in the "as found" condition, but looks like it would make a good appearance if cleaned up properly.

The case is curious in that the back cover is skewed in its decoration with respect to the joint. The front cover lines up properly. This must represent an error by the case maker and, my experience, these are very rare.
