Mabry Lackey

Mabry Lackey was a man of many skills. He was a successful farmer and was the man who could build or fix anything.

Mabry's first wife was Mary and they had two daughters Mauvreen and Madge.  Mary died when the girls were still young.

After a number of years Cora moved back to Avoca and she and Mabry married. Mabry and Cora had three children, Jane Mannette, James Mabry and Lera Jo. As often happens there are not many surviving pictures of Jo with her father, but the picture below shows Jane and Jimmy with their father.
