Elma Iona (Porter) McIntyre

My mother was the oldest daughter of a large western Kansas farm family. Her mother had 13 children with 5 living to adulthood.

She and her sister Edra left the farm as soon as they could for the bright lights of Denver, where they worked as chorus girls.
