Field Trip to the Orchard

On Thursday the 25th of September, two of our second grade classes took a field trip to Carlson's Orchard. It was a long walk and a lot of work picking apples, but everyone had a really good time.

Mrs. Woodward and Mrs. McIntyre had help from lots of parents. Mike Mintz took the pictures that can be seen on the rest of these pages of the trip. David Weir was our host at the orchard and taught us lots of interesting things about picking apples and making cider.

The parents helping from Mrs. Mcintyre's class were Robyn Zajac, Karla Talanian, Deborah Sauve and Abha Kashyap.
