Second view of movement
This is a grade 187 private lable for Marshall Field & Co. of Chicago. Their private label watch line was called Ariston and was particularly attractive. This watch should have an Ariston dial, which has been lost. The case is also a low grade recase, so we have just the movement. However, the movement is very nice with the Ariston logo mark and 17 Ruby Jewels marking.
This watch is reported to have been made in 1901.
