I originally intended to use the case from this Hoyt grade keywind to house my Bunn KW movement. However, the appearance of a private label on this watch is a rather early example of something that became a cornerstone of Illinois business and it seemed the history should be preserved. The serial number is 49046 and this watch like the Bunn KW and the Model 2 Stuart uses the logo form of indication for the serial number. The serial number places the watch in a run of Currier, but the 9 jewel configuration seen here is only found on the Hoyt grade. The case is a 4 oz coin silver case with a lot of honest wear.
