There is no information on when Fred made this engraving. From the style, it would appear that he was getting instruction from Charles DeLong and the time was around the turn of the century with Art Nouveau and the Gibson Girls in style. The engraving is on a 3" x 4" brass plate and is rather larger than the gold disk engraving by DeLong of Fred's portrait which is about the size of a dollar.
