This somewhat damaged example is one of two  known Swiss watch marked for Fred McIntyre, I.T. The other example is a 17J with nice dial in good condition. I have no information on this watch other than its existence. It is a high grade Swiss movement similar to the ones Vacheron and other Swiss companies were exporting to the U.S. from the mid 1880's until well after the turn of the century. In this case it has wolf's tooth winding and is marked 21 jewels and adjusted extra.

I welcome any information that readers may be able to share about it. I cased the loose movement in its current gold case. Some work needs to be done on the dial to stabilize it and prevent further damage.

Another example in 17 jewels was seen in 2005. It was similar to this one, but had a perfect signed dial and a little lower grade of finish to the movement. It was not for sale.
