DeLong Patent Wind Indicator 798884
This patent appears on the McIntyre Watch and also on the patent model for the invention pictured under DeLong's handwork in the handwork section. It provides a means to engage the wind indicator by swinging an arm that is mounted on the barrel into engagement with the winding indicator gear. This eliminates the need for a differential. There is a slip clutch that slips while winding and provides the connection for moving the indicator to the down position as the spring unwinds.
