Commemorative cups and dishes are common MacIntyre items that have no particular relationship to Moorcroft's work but are typical of MacIntyre work both during and after Moorcroft's tenure. This piece, as shown, commemorates the coronation of King George the Fifth. As is often the case, it was marked for a retailer in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The registry number dates the design to 1910.
