This nice little Gesso Faience small teapot is typical of the designs. They are half art and half utilitarian. These designs are more formal than the earlier Washington Faience but not as stark as the architectural designs of Taluf Faience. The registry number 3087?? dates the design to 1897, the first year Moorcroft worked for MacIntyre.
