These two strange pieces are signed M. Hastings. The work is very crude and does not appear to be professional painting. They look very much like some other amateur hand painted pieces normally found on Limoge blanks. The registry marks date the pieces to 1898, which would have been after Moorcroft's arrival at the MacIntyre works.
