Potter to Queen |

Moorcroft became the official "Potter to H. M. Queen Mary" as seen on the paper label above. The signature is that of Walter Moorcroft and the Royal Warrant was first awarded to William in 1928 and was transferred to Walter in 1946. The warrant expired in 1978, 25 years after the death of Queen Mary. (From Atterbury) |
