This watch is typical of a large group of watches with the name Dent or Kendal and Dent with obvious Swiss movements, cases and probably dials. However this one is unusual in identifying the Swiss maker as Buren.
Buren was a prominent medium grade Swiss maker and lasted well into the 20th century. They were eventually purchased by Hamilton as part of the machinations that formed SMH the current Swiss giant watch conglomerate that owns both Swatch and Hamilton and runs the facility in Lancaster, PA.
