Front, Dial, Back, Movement, Close-up of movement, 2nd close-up of movement

This example of the E. W. Bond grade is jeweled in the center top plate and has 18 jewels. It has a Hampden dial which is likely to be original. These watches were developed late in the history of the New York Watch Co. and stock on hand was sold as Hampden after the transition to the Springfield Hampden Watch Co. Some mixed material is even found after the move to Canton Ohio.

This example is housed in a display case made for Jon Hanson by Wilbur Dexter. The case is made from aluminum with snap on covers front and back and a Teflon sleeve to hold the winding and setting stem in place in the case. The case is knurled around the edge for decoration.
