Front, Back, Dial, Case mark, Movement

The United States Watch Co. of Waltham produced a range of medium grade watches and was probably the source of talent for the Suffolk Watch Co. and other small operations in Waltham. Their facilities eventually became the E. Howard Watch Co. of Boston.

Their 21J President grade was a very fine high grade watch that featured two tone finish on some examples. This 17J example is a cut below the 21J, but is representative of their best grade in regular production.
