C. H. Hulburd The C. H. Hulburd was Elgin's "Official" entry into the "prestige watch" competition. It was sold as a presentation watch and the combination of dial styles and hand styles made every watch a "unique" example. There appear to have been about 15 or 20 of each of these styles, so, while it was unlikely that you would meet another person carrying your watch, there were probably only about 300 to 400 different combinations.
