This drawing is of one of Church's masterpiece machines. This one is the Automatic Plate Drilling and Tapping Machine. It supports 10 operation stations and can have 10 plates in sequence through the machine at one time. As each operation is finished the transfer tools take the part to the next station and eventually deposit it in the receiving box.
