This represents the most complex standard complication built for Waltham. The repeater mechanism appears on some chronographs and split second chronographs and there exist singular examples of minute repeaters and perpetual calendars among others. However, since the repeating works is largely under the dial, the view of the split with register from the back is truly impressive.

This watch has serial number 3,126,201 in a run of 400 Am'n grade movements from 3,126,001 to 3,126,400 produced between September 1887 and June 1888.

Unfortunately this example is not cased and is in the "as found" condition. It may, one day, be restored. The dial is pretty badly damaged, but may be improved cosmetically with some work. There is only very slight damage to the indications on the dial.
