Front, Dial, Back, Case Mark, Movement, Second view of Movement, Certificate side 1, Certificate side 2, Inside box lid, Outside box This is a nice Gruen Precision that is mostly significant as a very nice example of a presentation watch. It was presented by General Motors Frigidaire Division as a Quota Club award in 1931. There is another example of this award in the "Small Wonders" part of the collection that features a Hamilton Grade 400 movement. This watch is complete with the box and a large guarantee certificate. The box is ftted as though it were a military award complete with ribbon and oak leaves. |
